In a recent exclusive report by prominent leaker Billbil-kun, it has been revealed that the hit PlayStation exclusive game, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, will soon be making its way to PC.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, an exciting third-person shooter platform game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, originally launched as a PlayStation 5 exclusive on June 11, 2021. It serves as the ninth main installment in the Ratchet & Clank series and a sequel to Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus. Today, Billbil-kun revealed that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will finally be available for PC later in July, after 2 years since it was released on the PlayStation console.
PlayStation eventually confirmed that Nixxes Software has collaborated with Insomniac Games to bring Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on July 26th.
Details of the PC features of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart were also revealed on the PlayStation.Blog page. According to PlayStation, the developers have worked diligently to optimize the interdimensional adventure for ultrawide screen monitors. As a result, the PC version of the game will have ultra-wide support for 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 (triple monitor support) resolutions. Players on PC can also enjoy ray-traced reflections, as well as newly added, ray-traced shadows for exteriors.
Performance-enhancing upscaling technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS, and Insomniac Games’ Temporal Injection are also available. NVIDIA Reflex and image quality-enhancing NVIDIA DLAA are also supported in the PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC version is now available for pre-order on the Epic Games Store with early access in-game items bonus, including the Carbonox Armor and Pixelizer Weapon. Steam users may also add it to their wishlist now to be notified as soon as it becomes available.
