Publisher QUByte Interactive has officially announced that the real-time monster-taming game, Adore, is set for a full version launch next month across multiple gaming platforms. Developed by Cadabra Games, Adore promises to deliver an exciting isometric roguelike experience, where players take on the role of the protagonist Lukha, who can summon and control creatures to fight by his side.
Adore first launched through early access in February 2020, allowing developers to gather invaluable feedback for further enhancements. Finally, QUByte recently revealed that the game is now ready to depart from the early access phase and make its full release on August 3, 2023, for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Set in the mysterious world of Gaterdrik, the story of Adore unfolds after the death of Draknar, the God of creatures, and the subsequent emergence of a curse, taking control of all creatures that inhabit Gaterdrik. Nonetheless, hope remains as Lukha, an apprentice of the adorers becomes Draknar’s last hope. During his journey to revive Draknar, Lukha discovers the many secrets of Gaterdrik, as well as the conspiracy that killed Draknar.
Adore offers extensive customization options, allowing players to tailor their playstyle based on the creatures they capture. Each creature possesses distinctive characteristics and abilities, which adds to the strategic depth of the game.
A notable feature of Adore is its Synergy System, which allows players to create synergies between their creatures, activating additional abilities and modifications. Meanwhile, during expeditions in search of statues dedicated to Draknar, players’ creatures will receive traits that make them unique. Each creature also has a special ability that can be used when its energy bar is fully charged. Making strategic decisions regarding the right moments to unleash these special abilities will also be crucial for players to achieve the most effective outcomes.
Additionally, players can equip and upgrade Runes and Artifacts that complement the qualities of their creature team. Throughout the journey, players will also need to gather ingredients and create unique dishes to help in the adventure.
A demo version of Adore is currently available on Steam for those who wish to try out some of the game’s exciting features.
