Publisher Nacon has made an announcement today, revealing that the release of War Hospital, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC has been pushed back to 2024. This upcoming hospital management real-time strategy title was originally scheduled for October 26th but has been delayed to allow the developers at Brave Lamb Studio more time for enhancements and polishing

You have been following our news for a long time and you know that we are committed to making a truly unique game. As the aim of the game is to save people rather than kill them, War Hospital offers a different perspective from other war strategy games. We want to make the game as deep and realistic as possible while respecting the subject it deals with. This is why War Hospital features a range of game mechanics, including management, strategy, and role play. These different systems are complex, and we require more development time than previously thought to find the right balance.
To achieve our authenticity and quality goals, we have decided to extend our development time and push back the release to early 2024. These additional months will allow us to refine details, balance the game, and fix more bugs so that you have a more polished game.

The War Hospital team
Set in the year 1918, War Hospital immerses players in the role of Major Henry Wells, a retired British combat medic, drafted back into the nightmare of World War I. Understaffed and undersupplied, Wells became the last hope for countless soldiers at the French Front.
This unique war-themed game focuses on saving lives rather than taking them. As the commander of a field hospital, players will treat horrible war injuries and build a facility to heal them while artillery shells explode nearby. The game features a realistic depiction of the conditions of a British field hospital with authentic WW1 equipment. As they progress, players will gradually develop and use innovative Word War I medical methods and technology
Despite a significant delay in release, fans have been very understanding of the developers’ ambitious vision for War Hospital. It is hoped that the extra development time will ultimately lead to a successful and well-received launch.
