Roblox community events are rolling out onto the platform

It looks like Roblox will start allowing community driven events to be published in an event section on the platform in the near future.

Players have been seemingly clamoring for officially run Roblox event like the Egg Hunt for a while now. It seems that the platform is moving away from anything official, however, they appear to be making a big step forward when it comes to supporting community driven ones. This has become apparent by a couple of official event pages that have been revealed for some popular games on the platform.

It has been discovered that there will likely be an events page coming to Roblox that will display community run temporary events. These will be events that developers can host within their experiences, which will reward badges, items, or change things up in the game.

There are a couple of events that we know of going on right now that you can participate in! One of these is from the game UNOfficial, which is featuring the following event:

While the event is active, play the “Anniversary” Deck to keep it forever! Once the event ends, you can no longer obtain it for free and it’ll require the “More Decks” gamepass.

The “Anniversary” deck is the same as the “Original”, just with more balloons and NPCs with some party hats. Have fun!

Also, enjoy the brand new badges added to the game! Speedrun getting all of the achievements, if you will lol.

There is also a Donation Madness event in the game PLS Donate that will be released at some point that will reward players with a free exclusive booth for attending.

Participate in the first ever official donation madness hosted by hazem!

Anyone attending this event will be given a free exclusive booth!

You can likely expect an official announcement on how these will work in the near future. For now, we only have a bit of information to go on from these event pages that have leaked out.
