On April 2nd, 2022, Roblox has started to experience downtime due to some kind of issue with the Game Pass API. This has seemingly been a common problem on the weekends, where more players are jumping onto the platform due to being off from work or school. Players joke that anytime Pet Simulator X would receive an update that the service would struggle, but this time it appears to just be a general overall issue.
Games like A One Piece Game have been closing due to the problem with Game Passes. When this type of outage occurs, it is best not to make any purchases or do anything in games that you might not want to lose!
If Game Passes you’ve purchased in games are not loading this is not because of the game itself it is an issue with Roblox at the moment. It is unlikely that you’ve lost anything, and everything will be restored once the issues have been fixed!
If you want to stay updated on what’s going on with Roblox, just keep an eye on the Roblox Status page which gets updated whenever there’s an issue with the platform. This is always a good place to check first if you’re having problems accessing Roblox!
We can only hope that the issues affecting Roblox right now are not wide-spread. It’s hard not to always go back to what happened on October 28th, 2021 and went on for multiple days. That was one of the largest outages I have ever witnessed on any major platform in my life. So, hopefully nothing that drastic is going to happen with whatever is going on with the servers at the moment.
