The reason for the outage has been identified, and are currently being resolved according to the Roblox status page:
[Identified] We have identified the issues causing service disruption and are working to resolve them.
Roblox Server Outage
While no reason is currently known for the outage on December 13th, 2021, we do know that the engineers who work on the platform are aware of the issue. This message was given via the Roblox Status page to describe the disruption in service:
[Investigating] Roblox is experience service disruption, causing some players not able to join the experiences.
While that is all well-and-good, it doesn’t really help us much. So, if you’re experiencing the Bad Request 400 error when trying to access the platform, you aren’t alone. This is just a generic error that is displayed when something goes wrong with connectivity to the network. There’s nothing you can do to fix it right now but wait for the Roblox developers to fix whatever issue is currently going on with the platform.
We can only hope that the issues affecting Roblox right now are not wide-spread. It’s hard not to always go back to what happened on October 28th, 2021 and went on for multiple days. That was one of the largest outages I have ever witnessed on any major platform in my life. So, hopefully nothing that drastic is going to happen with whatever is going on with the servers at the moment.
