Roblox Islands has released the new Fishing Festival update on July 23rd, 2022! This patch brings back the Fishing Festival, the new Magma Golem Mob, and adds the Slime Queen Scepter. There are also a fair amount of new food recipes, hub changes, and a whole lot more!

🎣 Fishing Festival 🎣
- 🏆 Fisherman Thomas has returned with a new challenge for Islands fishers! Hopefully you’ve been practicing!
- 📅 Festivals will now be held regularly throughout the year!
- 🐠 Work to unlock a fishy weapon!
🔥 Magma Golem Mob 🔥
In the depths of the Underworld lies a new set of dangerous creatures known as Magma Golems!
👑 Slime Queen Scepter 👑
Adventurer Ivon forged together a Slime Queen Scepter out of Pink Slime Crystals and has shared the recipe with everyone! Harness the power of the Slime Queen!
🍽️ New Food Recipes 🍽️
- 🍪 Added Blueberry Cookie
- Consuming will increase reward drops from mobs by 50%
- 🥛 Added Glass of Milk
- Consuming will increase your damage by 50% against mobs
- Added Blueberry Dough recipe
🏰 Hub Changes 🏰
- 🐷 Added farm animals to Taliyah’s barn in the Hub!
- 🪑 You can now sit on the Hub statue and on benches!
- 🎵 Melody the Musician has relocated across the street from Fulco’s Floristry Shop
- 🛢️ Cleaned up excess models in the Desert portion of the Hub
- 🧰 Moved John the Block Merchant and Jack the Mechanic
🐛 Bug Fixes 🐛
- 💬 Fixed chat box covering the Publish Island settings
- 🐴 Pushed fixes for not being able to inspect your farm animal
- 🗨️ Slightly reduced interaction radius with villagers
- 🛠️ Opening processors while another menu is open no longer locks the menu on your screen
- 🔮 Fixed the Slime Queen Orb and fixed teleportation to the correct arena
