Roblox Islands has released the new Void Isles update on August 13th, 2022! In this patch, you will find a wide-variety of changes and bug fixes have been added to the experience. These will hopefully help clear up any issues you may have had and allow you to find some new stuff to do in the game.

A strange rift has appeared in the desert, leading to a shadowy fragmented land referred to as “the Void Isles”… Islands with a mysterious past, shadowed by the very darkness that currently inhabits it… can you uncover the mystery around the demise of the lands once known as Soth’iel?
⛏️ New Resources ⛏️
💎 Amethyst Crystals
- Purple crystalline rock, found in the void isles. Used to create weapons and the amethyst block.
✨ Amethyst Blocks - Collect amethyst to create beautiful and shiny amethyst blocks for your island!
🪨 Void Stone - Mine these rocks to acquire void stone blocks.
🏖️ Void Sand - Sand blocks acquired from digging up void sand piles.
🌿 Void Grass - Purple colored grass dug up from grass piles around the Void Isles. (Cannot plant or plow this yet…)
💨 Smoke Resistance Potion - A crafting potion used to endure the dangerous misty smoke that spreads across the Void Isles.

🐍 Void Serpent
- A dark serpent believed to be a bringer of darkness and the end times…
🐕🦺 Void Hound - Agile and deadly, with a good sense of smell… definitely not a good boy.
⚔️ New Weapons ⚔️
🪝 Serpent’s Hook
- New hook-shaped weapon, with two modes of attack.
- Hold down the attack (on PC), or hold the button on mobile to perform a spinning area of effect attack!
🗡️ Serpent’s Bane - New greatsword weapon dealing high amounts of damage!
🏝️ Island Changes 🏝️
🏜️ The desert now has a more sandy visual atmosphere, and a new portal, the void rift used to traverse to the void isles. A new story-based quest is available from Amir (found in your quest log) in regards to the rift.
🐲 The underworld’s atmosphere visually has been changed to be reddish in hue to be more atmospheric.
🖥️ UI Changes 🖥️
🖥️ Modernized the islands loading screen
🧰 Teleporting to different islands now indicate where you’re travelling to visually with the transfer screens
📜 Available quests are now searchable through the quest interface
🐛 Misc Changes 🐛
🐉 Magma dragon health has been nerfed (30.0k → 17.0k)
🟪 The original “Void Block” has been renamed to “Respawn Block” to avoid confusion with new void content.

🐲 Dragonfruit prices have risen! (45 → 50)
🍊 Orange prices have dropped! (20 → 16)
