Roblox Pet Simulator X goes private temporarily

Roblox Pet Simulator X is one of the most popular games on the platform, so when it went private on March 31st, 2022 a lot of people noticed. Well, it looks like there’s some kind of exploit that has caused problems with the game, so it has been temporarily closed according to the official Twitter account.

Update: Game is available once again, hopefully all of the issues have been fixed!

According to people around the community, it looks like the exploit is allowing “hackers” to enter into games and take pets out of other players’ inventories. If a player opens their bank, they can also take pets out of there as well. This is obviously pretty problematic, so you might want to wait a little while to make sure everything is fixed before playing again! Keep in mind that this has not been confirmed by anyone working on the game, so it could just be a rumor.

While the game hasn’t had a lot of issues, pet dupes have been a problem in the past, which is pretty brutal for a game like this where the economy is what drives trading with other players.

While it will likely be back soon, this is unfortunate for a lot of players who were likely AFK grinding while they are at school or work. The game doesn’t shutdown often, as it is one that is frequently grinded all hours of the day to earn currency for new pets!

I wouldn’t worry about any of your data being lost, it’s unlikely that this will lead to any long term issues. However, there’s always a possibility of unforeseen problems. While you wait, you should give another Roblox game a try! There’s tons on the platform, so give something a shot you might not have played before or wouldn’t consider in the past.
