Easy.gg, who are the developers behind Roblox BedWars and Islands, have just released a new game called, Prop Hunt! This is pretty big news because BedWars is one of the most popular games on the platform, and Islands maintains a dedicated following. The developers are known for taking existing game ideas and shaping them in a way that fits on the Roblox platform.
If you’ve never heard of Prop Hunt before, it is a pretty popular game-type that will have you playing hide and seek. The catch, however, is that the players that are hiding can transform into items that can be found on the current map! This leaves the seekers with a difficult task, because they will have to remember which items were where on the map and try to find the ones that don’t belong.
Seekers aren’t fully in the dark, a ping goes off periodically, this displays the area of where a hider is located. If you can find them you will need to either fire your gun or slash at them with your sword. Make sure you are fast, because hiders can run away and transform into other items!
Prop Hunt type games have been around for a long-time, all the way back since the days of Garry’s Mod, which was a sandbox style of game that allowed players to play around with physics and develop mods. It has more recently gained popular in Fortnite, where players are able to create custom maps of various themes, which Prop Hunt lends itself well to.
This genre of game will fit well onto the Roblox platform, and it is in very good hands with Easy.gg who have been able to bring a quality version of BedWars to the platform. We will see if the players of Roblox enjoy what Prop Hunt has to offer!
