Dust & Neon is an upcoming single-player roguelite-RPG twin-stick shooter game set in a world where humans battle against robots. From Rogue Games and David Marquardt Studios, Dust & Neon is coming in 2023.
The official announcement trailer for Dust & Neon showcases what players can expect from the game’s futuristic take on the Wild West.
In Dust & Neon, you will experience the ways of a futuristic Wild West. However, in this futuristic world, robots have rejected their lives of servitude and have begun to take over the planet. Thus, turning it into a place that isn’t safe or enjoyable for humans.
Players will take on the role of Gunslinger, a legendary sharpshooter from long ago who has been brought back to life by a crazy scientist in the hopes of stopping the robot oppression.
The classically-inspired game features an upgradable looter-shooter weapon system and roguelite adventures that brings new challenges and rewards. With the twin-stick shooting controls, automatic cover, and dynamic power-up systems, you can take down these deadly robots in non-stop shooter action.
As you progress, you can customize and level up your skills to create an even deadlier weapon. You can upgrade your home base to become the most lethal robot destroyer. If you happen to die, the mad scientistic has a new clone of you so that you can get right back into the action and epic boss battles.
While the official release date and game cost have yet to be revealed, Dust & Neon will be available on Windows and macOS via Steam. The minimum system requirements needed to play this game include:
