In V Rising, you play as a Vampire in a hostile world, with the only way to survive is to collect blood and build a base, so that you and your friends can consolidate power and rule the world. You need all the help you can get if you want to take on this hostile environment on your own, so if you’re looking for how to take on Rufus the Foreman, you’ve found the right guide.
V Bloods are incredibly valuable targets who unlock new crafting blueprints and powerful abilities for your Vampire. While you can track their scent, it’s much easier to simply know the exact location of where these powerful foes reside.
Rufus the Foreman Location
To find Rufus the Foreman in V Rising, you will need to go to the northeastern part of the center of Farbane Woods. Use the triangular fork in the road just before the “Farbane Woods” text as a reference for the center of this location. Rufus the Foreman is a level 20 threat.
Below, you can find a map showing the exact location of Rufus the Foreman. Rufus is located near the Alpha Wolf, which you can also find in our other guide. Rufus will be close to the road, so follow it to the northeast and don’t deviate far. Credit for the map goes to Map Genie.

You’ll be fighting Rufus outside, so make sure you take the sun into account when planning for this battle. He also has a few minions for you to keep an eye on. If you need a guide for taking on this V Blood, check out the video below.
Defeating Rufus the Foreman will give you the Blood Rage ability. This power sets you into a berserk state, making you a truly dangerous foe to anyone foolish enough to get caught in your path.
Being a foreman, Rufus has a ton of recipes to drop as well. In addition to the Woodworking Bench structure, Rufus will also drop recipes for the Hunter’s Crossbow, Fishing Pole, Sculptured Wood, and Painting Frame.
