The popular eSports team “Sentinels” has officially decided to bootcamp their team beginning next month, ahead of the Valorant Champions Tour conclusion in September.

Here’s the official tweet, which quickly garnered a staggering amount of support and praise:

It may seem like a simple statement, but bootcamps are actually a big step and investment for any eSports team. Bootcamps are sometimes a training program for the fans. But also, they can involve a pro team getting together in person to prepare their skills and minds for serious competition.

Some fans have been frustrated with the latest performances since May, but there’s still no question that Sentinels are a force to be reckoned with.

Sentinels is already feeling confident in their abilities, and recently released a montage of their top ten plays from the Valorant Championship Tour’s Stage 2 games. You can review the plays on their official YouTube channel here:

Now that Team Sentinels is prepared to delve into their highest potential, the fanbase is definitely pleased, even if this does place more pressure on Sentinels to succeed.

Even competitors like Cloud9 were quick to reply with their support, using some familiar language for Sentinels fans:

For now, it’s unclear how the bootcamp will work, since the strategy tends to change from one team to the next in order to properly fit their needs.

Some teams carefully balance their diet, work out together, or just head into town for some well-earned fun, basically using methods like any other sports team to build synergy, performance and confidence.

It takes a lot more to compete at these levels than most casual gamers will realize. Like other eSports teams, Sentinels will also have an opportunity to post vlogs about their experience to give fans a sneak peek at their process, so keep an eye out for that.
