Skullgirls 2nd Encore Releases to Xbox One/Series S|X on July 19

Skullgirls 2nd Encore prepares for its July 19 launch on Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X. The game brings a dynamic 2D fighting experience along with Season 1 Pass featuring added characters, stages, and content.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore, a 2D fighting game known for its rapid pace and stunning artistry, is all set to make its mark on Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X platforms. The release date is scheduled for July 19, marking the game’s return to Xbox systems after an 8-year gap.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore features an exceptional Dark Deco world setting, where players take command of 14 uniquely-designed characters. Every character possesses distinctive gameplay mechanics, making the game a blend of diversity and personality.

Thought to be a fitting choice for both casual players and competitive fighting game enthusiasts, Skullgirls brings to the table a fully voiced story mode, remarkable animation, and a soundtrack crafted by Michiru Yamane.

On the same day the Season 1 Pass will also be available. The Season Pass offers a package of exciting content including four new characters – Annie of the Stars, Umbrella, Black Dahlia, and Marie (planned for 2023) – complete with their stages, palettes, and Story Mode. Additionally, the Season Pass includes the Season Pass Exclusive Palette Pack, Skullgirls Original Soundtrack featuring new DLC tracks, and an updated Skullgirls Digital Art Compendium.

As per the announcement, preorders for Skullgirls 2nd Encore are now open for Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles.
