Slender: The Arrival, the classic survival horror game about the Slender Man from Blue Isle Studios and Blue Isle Publishing, will officially launch the 10th anniversary update on October 18th, 2023. It will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Slender: The Arrival has surely reached the point of nostalgia, but the original creepypasta sensation itself continues to renew interest now and then. The fictional icon even got a film adaptation back in 2018, though it was critically panned.
Slender: The Arrival remains a successful, slick horror experience that deserved an update years ago, so fans will definitely be pleased. Its sensationalism was crafted pretty well, with a properly stark tone and some creative imagery.
In fact, the passing of time may have allowed layers of obscurity for new players, adding a shroud of mystery. The horror genre has also evolved, so it’ll be interesting to see how Slender: The Arrival can meet modern expectations.
Today’s trailer shows off some fairly polished graphics, with movement that looks very smooth. That’ll go a long way with jump scares. Also, the sound design is crisp as ever. That was always appealing, with terrific sound effects and music that played a very large role in creating the game’s tense atmosphere.
It’s appreciated that Slender: The Arrival will get the 10th anniversary update during the Halloween season, but it would’ve been helpful if the devs released more info about what differences and improvements fans can expect.
