Smite, the long-running MOBA with third-person action from Titan Forge Games, has just revealed a new cinematic and gameplay trailer for fan favorite Avatar: The Last Airbender characters Toph and Avatar Roku.

Toph Scylla, Fire Nation Toph Scylla and Avatar Roku Yu Huang will arrive with Update 10.8, during an Avatar-themed event. While an exact release date wasn’t confirmed, it’s slated to begin sometime in August. Today’s trailer description further adds that both of the new characters will be fully revealed in an Avatar: The Last Airbender Update Show, which is scheduled for August 2nd at 3 PM eastern time.

Smite is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. You can watch today’s new trailer for Toph and Roku on the official Smite YouTube channel:

This may not be the first crossover between Smite and Avatar: The Last Airbender, but the addition of Toph is a surefire way to renew interest.

Toph is a beloved hero of the series thanks to her attitude, strengths, and even comedic relief. Her introduction to the team created some iconic friction with Katara, and her tough teaching methods with Aang are equally memorable. Like any character from the classic series, there are countless smaller details that proved to be standout moments, let alone obvious ones like Melon Lord.

In today’s trailer, Toph looks as delightful as any of the previous Avatar: The Last Airbender characters, and players correctly predicted she’d be Scylla. Her Earth-bending looks fine enough, but unfortunately fans will have to wait until this week’s update show for any real speculation about her actual mechanics.

The same goes for Avatar Roku, but the dragon ability was a fun surprise. Turning Fang blue and red was a really nice touch.
