Alchemist Interactive and rokaplay’s upcoming magical comfort rogue-lite, Spells & Secrets, is scheduled to launch on November 9th on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Seris X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Alongside this announcement is a brand-new trailer, offering a sneak peek at its gameplay and other exciting features.
Spells & Secrets promises a deep and motivating rogue-lite experience. In this game, players will assume the role of a first-year student of the magic arts, embarking on their journey to the prestigious Academy of Greifenstein. What initially appears to be an ordinary school day takes an unexpected turn when a strange incident unfolds. Now, players take on a mission to save the ever-changing castle and rescue their lost schoolmates. To succeed, they must harness their creative spellcasting abilities to combat magical creatures, solve intricate puzzles, explore the vast school grounds, and ultimately uncover the castle’s secrets.
As players navigate the ever-changing school castle Greifenstein, they may improve their character permanently, and discover powerful artifacts. Furthermore, they will be able to use valuable potions to help them in their journey.
Apart from an exciting and magical dungeon crawler action, Spells & Secrets features extensive character customization options, allowing players to show off their creativity and give their characters a personal touch. For those who prefer a company on their journey, the game supports two-player local or online co-op through Steam-Remote.
For eager fans who want to be notified as soon as Spells & Secrets is released, the game is now available to wishlist on Steam. A demo version is also available, providing a hands-on preview of the magical adventure that awaits. In addition, the Beta Test is still live for those interested to contribute invaluable feedback for the final stages of the development.
