Stabbomancer Guide

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is right around the corner, meaning now is the best time to prepare your character sheets. Want to roll with advantage with your first Stabbomancer build? We’ve got exactly the leveling build guide you need.

Wonderlands Stabbomancer Leveling Guide

For this Wonderlands leveling build guide, there are two words you need to keep in mind: Damage and simplicity. While the Stabbomancer can be built in many ways that favor more specialized playstyles, the class also has a very unique jack of all trades playstyle not available to any other class. So, we’re going to build our Stabbomancer to do damage, do it well, and not lean too far in any specialized roles or complicated playstyles.

Stabbomancer Hype

The Stabbomancer’s class feat Dirty Fighting is as follows:

The Fatemaker’s Critical Hit Chance is increased.

Simple, clean, and deadly. The ideal descriptive words for any Stabbomancer.

Keep in mind, we won’t be multiclassing in this guide. Instead, view this build as an introduction to the Stabbomancer class. This is still a solid and powerful build though, and you should still find plenty of synergies when you decide to multiclass with this build.

Stabbomancer Character Creation

To start building your character, you must first pick the right options in character creation. These starting stats help give you the boost you need towards building your character and can save you a lot of hassle later.

Stabbomancer Background

Dexterity and Strength are both equally good for the Stabbomancer, but I prefer to go with the Village Idiot background for the 10% increased crit damage. This bonus might not seem that large on paper, but it really makes a difference when you start hitting regular crits.

Stabbomancer Hero Points

Afterward, we’re going to put EVERYTHING we have into the Stabbomancer’s Dexterity. This ability increased crit chance, and we want that percentage as high as we can possibly get it. Strength is our secondary stat after this, so that our crits do more damage.

Stabbomancer Skill Point Guide

This leveling build guide tells you how to build your Stabbomancer via the order you spend your skill points. To properly follow this leveling build, you should be spending your skill points as listed below, as you obtain them.

Each section of this Wonderlands leveling guide will describe how to spend your next 10 skillpoints. Remember that you unlock the next tier of abilities every 5 skill points spent.

First 10 Skill Points

Arsenal is your go-to dump for your first 5 skill points. This is a flat increase to your gun damage, melee damage, and spell damage. It’s just straight-up damage, which is great. That’s exactly what we’re going for with this build.

Sm 1

Next, put 3 points into Follow Up and 2 points into Swift Death. These abilities synergize well off of each other, allowing you to run down enemies, shooting them as you approach and finishing them off with a melee attack.

Sm 2

Skill Points 11-20

Put 3 points into Exploit Their Weakness. This affords you free damage on enemies as long as you have an elemental weapon or spell. This is especially great towards enemies who are taking damage over time from effects like fire weapons, as the elemental DoT is also increased.

Sm 3

Put 1 point into Shadow Step and 1 point into Nimble Fingers, buffing the melee attacks you’ll be weaving into your shots. After this, you should unlock the next tier of abilities.

Sm 4

Your next 5 points should go directly into Sneak Attack, as a straight bonus to critical hit damage is important for this Stabbomancer build.

Sm 5

End of Build

By now, your Stabbomancer should already be doing tons of damage, and the next few skills will be used to wrap up your build and prepare you for multiclassing.

Put 1 point into Elusive, unlocking the special ability to sprint while shooting. This synergizes with Swift Death, so you want to go back and finish that up as well.

Sm 6

Put another point into Nimble Fingers, and you should unlock the next tier of Stabbomancer abilities. Put 1 point into Alchemical Agent, significantly buffing your melee attacks.

Sm 7

At this point, you want to invest your next 5 skill points into A Thousand Cuts. This is an incredibly powerful ability that puts a nice wrap on the rest of the Stabbomancer’s scaling damage.

Sm 8

Finally, finish the Stabbomancer build with Executioner’s Blade. This is a special ability that summons a spectral version of your melee weapon over anyone you deal critical damage to, essentially giving you a free melee attack on that target every time you crit them, even at range.

Sm 9

From here, the rest of the skill points are yours to spend as you please. Personally, I would focus on multiclassing at this point, as you already have a solid build that could be improved with additional synergy from other classes.

For example, the ramping damage from the Stabbomancer’s skills could work really well with the Spellweaving feat from the Spellshot class, While certainly strong this is hardly the only choice you have to make the most of this build in multiclassing; Experiment with other classes and find what works best for you.

That’s all you need to know for this Stabbomancer leveling build! This is a solid build that should help you through your first adventure in Wonderlands. Leave a comment below if you found this guide helpful, and check out our other Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Guides.
