The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. According to the developer, the game takes place shortly after the events of Star Trek: The Next Generation, allowing players to immerse themselves in the beloved sci-fi universe.

In Star Trek: Resurgence, players will take on the roles of two main characters: First Officer Jara Rydek and Engineering Ensign Carter Diaz. They will be tasked with solving a mysterious conflict involving two civilizations on the verge of war. Players will interact with both new and familiar characters from the Star Trek universe, making dialogue choices and taking action to influence the course of the story.

Meanwhile, Engineering Crewperson Carter Diaz experiences the mission’s events from the lower decks, providing an alternative perspective on the unfolding drama.
