Steam announced today the debut of its new Going Rogue: A Festival of Persistence sale, an event celebrating those who don’t run away in the face of adversity and made to not only fans of Roguelike, Metroidvania, and Souls-like games, but also for players looking to jump into their world.
With that said, Steam Going Rogue: A Festival of Persistence sale is set to run from May 2nd to May 9th, 2022, and features, as its name implies, great deals on many games which fall into the spectrum of Roguelike, Roguelite, Metroidvania, and Souls-like. To celebrate the beginning of the sale, Steam revealed a new video, where Valve representatives Kaci Aitchison and Jay Shaw talk about the defining traces of each genre and sub-genre featured as part of the sale.

Among the many games available as part of the sale, fans will be able to buy acclaimed games such as 2019’s Game of the Year winner Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order, Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Darkest Dungeon, Nioh: Complete Edition, Nioh 2, and Skul: The Hero Slayer, the latter which reached shelves on January 2021. According to Steam BD, the Going Rogue: A Festival of Persistence sale features a total of 9,400 items, going from games to DLCs, and more.
