Warner Bros. Games and developer Rocksteady Studios have announced the postponement of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League from its initial release date of May 26 to February 2, 2024. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

In a statement, the developers expressed their decision to delay the game was a difficult but necessary one, aiming to provide the best quality experience for players. They thanked the community for their continued support, patience, and understanding, promising more information in the coming months.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a genre-defying, action-adventure third-person shooter developed by Rocksteady Studios, the creators of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. The game combines character-driven story gameplay with third-person shooter action, offering a unique gaming experience.

The game’s story revolves around the origins of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X, also known as the Suicide Squad. Players take on the roles of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they reluctantly set out on a mission to take down the Justice League. Set in the open-world city of Metropolis, the Suicide Squad faces an invading alien force and DC Super Heroes determined to destroy the city they once protected. All the while, the squad members must keep in mind the lethal explosives implanted in their heads, which could detonate if they defy their orders.

Each character in the Suicide Squad has a unique moveset and enhanced traversal abilities, allowing players to freely explore the dynamic open-world of Metropolis. The game also offers a variety of weapons to customize and skills to master. Players can tailor their experience by choosing to play solo or team up with friends in multiplayer co-op mode.
