Summer Games Done Quick 2023 Games List Released

The Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2023 event, a charity speedrunning marathon, is set to take place from May 28 to June 4 in Minneapolis, MN. This year’s event will be held in-person, benefiting the international humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders.

Games Done Quick, a series of charity video game marathons, has been raising money for various charities for over nine years, including Doctors Without Borders and the Prevent Cancer Foundation. As the largest fundraising event globally for both charities, Games Done Quick has raised an impressive $34 million to date, attracting an average of 3,000 attendees at each event, comprising staff, volunteers, runners, and supporters.

The recently released games list for SGDQ 2023 includes a diverse range of titles, catering to various gaming interests. Some of the major games featured in the lineup include “Elden Ring” (PC), “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” (Nintendo Switch), “Halo 3” (PC), “Resident Evil 6” (PC), “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas” (PC), “Metroid Prime Remastered” (Nintendo Switch), “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” (PC), “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” (PC), and “Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster” (PC).

Classic titles such as “Banjo-Kazooie” (Nintendo 64), “Super Metroid” (Super Nintendo), and “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask” (Nintendo 64) are also part of the roster.
