Just a couple of months after reaching its funding goal on Kickstarter, Super Dungeon Maker has received confirmation that it would be made available in its entirety on Nintendo Switch and Steam next month.

Super Dungeon Maker is a creative pixel art dungeon editor created by FIRECHICK and rokaplay. It is inspired by the best 2D adventure games, including Zelda, Super Mario Maker, and Levelhead, in which creators may build their own adventure game using the basic yet remarkable tools provided.

The Early Access version of Super Dungeon Maker was made available on Steam in February 2022, and since then, the community has produced more than 1500 dungeons. A Kickstarter campaign has been launched with the intention of raising funds to support the porting of the game to the Nintendo Switch as well as some additional stretch goals. Super Dungeon Maker‘s Kickstarter has been successfully funded in November 2022, and just recently, developer rokaplay announced to launch its full version on May 3rd for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Super Dungeon Maker features an easy-to-navigate dungeon creator, allowing creators to make thrilling dungeon levels within minutes. Creators have the freedom to construct their very own pixel art-style dungeons with a variety of different themes and levels of difficulty by selecting the number of levels, enemies items, and hidden paths as they see fit. To increase the difficulty, creators may also include countless traps and hidden spikes in their dungeons.

Creators may also explore built-in dungeons or those created by their friends and the community. As in a typical 2D adventure game, the hero must solve puzzles in the dungeons and defeat the enemies as well as find hidden hearts to replenish health and make it to the final boss.

You may add Super Dungeon Maker to your Steam and Nintendo store wishlist now to be alerted when the full version is released.
