Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is coming to various consoles and PC next year!

Last April 2022, Bandai Namco submitted an application to register “Last Recollection” as a trademark. Now, it was revealed that the trademark was registered in preparation for the finale of the Sword Art Online video game series.

Just recently, Bandai Namco announced that Sword Art Online Last Recollection would be available on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, as well as for the PC through Steam in 2023.  

According to the official website for SAO Last Recollection, the game takes place during the final moments of the Underworld, which was a realm designed to give birth to the most advanced form of artificial intelligence known as A.L.I.C.E. As the gate that formerly divided the Human Empire and the Dark Territory opens, a war is set to break out between the two territories. At that very time, a dark knight and a young girl come dashing in from the other side of the gate.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection will debut in Japan on several modern platforms next year. As of now, the exact release date in Japan and other countries is still unknown. Nonetheless, Bandai Namco is expected to make an announcement very soon on the international release of the most recent Sword Art Online video game.
