SNK has recently announced that The King of Fighters XV will see the addition of Sylvie Paula Paula as a downloadable content (DLC) character on May 16, earlier than her initially planned summer debut. Along with the character, players will also receive a bonus costume.

In the lead-up to her official launch, Sylvie Paula Paula will be available for a hands-on preview at Dreamhack Japan on May 13 and 14. The event takes place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, where attendees will have the opportunity to try out the new character ahead of her release.

Sylvie Paula Paula is the third DLC character added to the game’s character pass. Fans are still anticipating the arrival of Najd, scheduled for a summer release, and two more unannounced characters set to debut in the fall and winter. Additionally, Goenitz, who was unveiled at EVO Japan a few weeks ago, will be available for free throughout the summer.

The King of Fighters XV is currently available for purchase on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
