Synth Riders, the rhythm-based game, commemorates its five-year journey with the unveiling of the “Synthwave Essentials Volume 3” music pack. This 10-song package, headlined by The Midnight, features a new rendition of New Order’s iconic “Blue Monday”, performed exclusively for Synth Riders by renowned DJ Zardonic. The music pack includes both free songs and paid DLCs.
Detailed in the pack are tracks such as “Jason” and “Sunset” by The Midnight and the Synth Riders version of “Blue Monday” by Zardonic (featuring REEBZ). Also included are “New Cydonia” by Starcadian (featuring Hayley) and “Behemoth” (Perturbator Remix) by GoST.
Additionally, Synth Riders has made available a selection of free songs which are already accessible in the game. These songs include “A Matter of Time” by Ollie Wride, “Sledge” by Dance With The Dead, “Rendezvous” (VHS Dreams Remix) by Scandroid, “Interstellar” by LeBrock, and “We Were Young” by PRIZM.
In line with the 5th anniversary, Synth Riders has also enhanced one of its original play stages, “Back to the Synths”, for an enriched gaming experience.
The added tracks can be purchased individually for $1.99 or bought as a bundle for a discounted price. Synth Riders offers a “Complete Collection” bundle for those new to the game or players wanting to augment their set. This bundle incorporates the game and all current DLCs but does not include future DLCs.
Synth Riders also plans to host a “Saturday Synth Fever” multiplayer event this weekend at 6pm PST. This event will allow players to interact with the game’s developers.
In addition to the multiplayer event, Synth Riders’ team is scheduling a series of in-game challenges, which will revolve around both the newly added Synthwave songs and other classic favorites from the game. These challenges will be updated weekly and winners will be announced on Synth Riders’ social media channels.
With the latest Version 2.3.26.a9 release, players can expect the addition of “Synthwave Essentials Volume 3”, updated visuals for the “Back to the Synths” play stage, and minor cosmetic fixes.
