TerraTech is looking to draw in more players, and for the next 5 days you can play the game completely free on Steam. During this time the game will also be available for 12.49 instead of its’ usual 24.99 price tag, so you can pick up the game for a whopping 50% off if you decide you want to play it longer. All DLC for the game are also available at this discount, meaning you can get all eight for just $20.

TerraTech is an open-world sandbox adventure game that gives players the tools to design and build their own creations. The game features a combination of crafting, combat and discovery, and a lego-like building feature that allows you to design vehicles from a huge catalog of blocks. By scavenging, crafting and buying pieces to build your vehicles, you can become the ultimate planetary prospector.

TerraTech features procedurally generated planets, meaning that there are always new places to discover and explore. There are a wide arrange of biomes to find on the planets in TerraTech, including deserts, huge mountain ranges, and luscious grasslands. More biomes are being added as the game continues in development.

Rival Miners will attack you during your search for new worlds to exploit. Defeating them takes time, resources and effort, but opens new territory to explore and exploit. Everything in the game can be damaged, so make sure your exploration vessel is properly geared up to take on the enemies you might encounter in the galactic frontier.

If all this sounds like fun to you, be sure to check out TerraTech’s 5 day free trial event, and make sure to pick up the game for 50% off during that time if you decide its’ a keeper. The free trial event and sale ends on April 6th.
