From Capcom, Exoprimal is an online team-based action game that pits cutting-edge exosuit technology against history’s most ferocious dinosaurs.
The official gameplay trailer for Exoprimal shows what players can expect from the game regarding storyline, graphics, combat, and maneuvers.
Exoprimal is set in 2040 when sudden dinosaur outbreaks threaten humanity’s existence. All hope is not lost as Aibius has developed a hyper-advanced AI called Leviathan that can predict the location of future attacks. This technology and exosuits are humanity’s hope of surviving the dinosaur outbreaks. The storyline for Exoprimal has a lot of resemblance to Pacific Rim.
Exopilots, or exofighters, are in high demand and require an aptitude test to become a wielder of one of these legendary suits. The exosuits are grouped into different roles, and players will pilot these suits to stop and kill the dinosaurs.
Each exosuit has its own abilities and can be categorized into one of the three roles: assault, tank, and support, which is standard for these types of games. What is different, however, is that exofighters can change their exosuits at any time, even during battles, by performing a suit change. This allows for more flexibility, and you can adapt your strategies based on what the team needs to meet your goals.
The primary mode for the game is Dino Survival. It features two teams of five players competing in various PvE and PvP missions. Players will be transported to the scene of the latest outbreak and must follow Leviathan’s guidance to complete objectives. Whichever team completes the mission first wins. The aim of the game is to finish the objectives as quickly as possible, and the missions vary depending on player skills and other factors, meaning no two games will be alike.
