NIS America has released a features trailer for the highly anticipated game, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, which highlights the True Reverie Corridor. This addition allows players to encounter and recruit characters from across Zemuria, explore randomly generated dungeons, and engage in various mini-games. The game is set to be released on July 7 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie follows the intertwining fates of three main characters: Rean Schwarzer, Lloyd Bannings, and the masked figure “C.” Players can switch between their paths using the Crossroads system and influence the destinies of key characters and locations within Zemuria. The game also features refined tactical combat with new features such as the United Front system.
Rean Schwarzer, an Erebonian war hero, faces a new threat after returning to life at the branch campus. Lloyd Bannings, the leader of the Crossbell Police Department’s Special Support Section, fights for his city’s freedom when an old threat reemerges during independence celebrations. The story also follows “C,” a masked individual who appears to use the same codename as the leader of the Imperial Liberation Front, as they carry out a secret mission to investigate the actions of Crossbell’s former governor general.
Key features of the game include the Crossroads system, which allows players to experience three different story arcs and switch between them at any time. Side episodes are also available to further develop the characters and world of Zemuria. In the True Reverie Corridor, players can recruit new characters, test their skills in randomly generated dungeons, and enjoy mini-games. The game’s combat system features Arts, Brave Orders, and tactical strategies, along with the new United Front system to empower the entire team and defeat enemies.
