The Bibliophile Princess is a historical drama and romance light novel that has been adapted into a manga. It is also now being adapted into an anime.
The official trailer gives a quick glimpse of what this series’s light novel and manga fans can expect from the anime adaption.
This series is a must-read for those who love books and love to read. The Bibliophile Princess follows the story of Eliana Bernstein, who would rather read than be in the presence of other people. But as she is a noblewoman, it’s her role to find herself a suitor and get married.
Thankfully, however, Crown Prince Christopher Selkirk Asherald proposes a deal. He will protect her free time in exchange for being his fiance in name only, meaning she can continue to read to her heart’s content.
The two seem to have a blissful relationship as the years go by. But all fake alliances must end at some point. When the Crown Prince grows close to another woman, Eliana realizes she has feelings for him. What she doesn’t realize, however, is that there’s more going on behind the scenes than she could imagine.
