The indie marvel, The Stanley Parable, which was written by Davey Wreden and narrated by Kevan Brighting is releasing an expanded and re-imagined version of the game known as, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. The game will be released on April 27th, 2022 and will be coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S!
The keen eyed among you might have noticed that the release date is 4/27, which is obviously a hat tip to the fact that Stanley is employee 427. If you haven’t played the game before, I don’t recommend you look much into it because it is better played blind.
As for differences with the original title, everything from the original Stanley Parable is present and accounted for, just as it was in 2013. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, on the other hand, significantly expands the universe of the original game by adding extra content, options, and secrets to discover. The labyrinth has grown in size.
Furthermore, the game has been aesthetically enhanced to reflect modern technologies while maintaining the original game’s tone. The game now includes accessibility features such as in-game text localization, colorblind settings, and content warnings.
