Calling The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt one of the best games of all time as well as one of the best titles of the PS4/Xbox One generation is not an overestimation, as the title not only won the hearts of millions of players all over the world but also set a new bar for AAA titles.
With that said, in celebration of the acclaimed title’s seventh anniversary, CD Projekt Red officially revealed that the long-awaited and recently delayed PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the title are scheduled to be released in 2022, to be more specific, according to the game’s developers, the next gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to be released Q4 2022.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was first released in May 2015, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game later received a version for the Nintendo Switch. The game features the last main chapter in the Geralt of Rivia saga. A new game of the series is set to be released somewhere in the future, featuring a new protagonist.
You can currently play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as well as both its acclaimed expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can also play through all of the games of the series on PC, via both Steam and GOG.
