This Tuesday, developer Alawar Premium announced that They Always Run, their acclaimed 2D action platformer, will be arriving on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles on May 19, 2022. The price of the title on the upcoming platforms was not revealed.

You can check out the post in which Alawar Premium revealed the arrival of the game on all mentioned platforms below, courtesy of the developer’s official Twitter profile.

They Always Run was first released exclusively for PC on October 20, 2021. In the game, players will find themselves in a galaxy that, after the fall of the empire, was enveloped in both crime and violence. They will then take on the role of Aiden, a three-armed bounty hunter, as he takes part in a series of contracts throughout the galaxy, unravels a dangerous galaxy-wide conspiracy, and faces a wide array of mortal and dangerous foes.

With that said, the game’s aesthetic, which mixes both futuristic elements and western elements, as well as its action-packed gameplay made the title a hit upon arrival. They Always Run players can also, during their journey throughout the galaxy, make use of the environment in their favor, as well as enhance their gear and learn a wide array of different and deadly skills, all featured as part of the game’s skill tree system.
