Thymesia is a single-player, Soulslike RPG game from Overboard games. A recent trailer announced the official release date for this game.
This punishing and challenging game will be available for players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 9, 2022. A limited-time demo is available on Steam until May 9, 2022.
Thymesia is set in a kingdom that thrives on the power of alchemy but enters an age of disaster. After discovering the price of alchemy, an attempt to stop its use backfires. The kingdom was in chaos, and the streets were infested with monsters within only a few days.
The key to understanding all of this is in Corvus’s hands. However, he has lost his memory. They can only find the truth behind all of this in his memories, but he only uncovers more secrets every time he dives back in.
Players must take the disease from bosses and wield them as weapons. This is the only way to survive in this monster-ridden Kingdom. One of the many exciting things about this game is that you have a raven form, which you can shift into during battle. You can throw your feathers like daggers and kill enemies with swift strikes.
Like other RPG games, you also can upgrade and change your basic movements and plague weapons. You can customize and build your play style to suit how you like to fight and do combat.
This game also has a twist. As you journey across the Kingdom to recover your memories, you’ll get different endings based on your choices and collected items. It’s up to you to piece them together to uncover the truth.
