Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh, an upcoming action adventure from developer Pendulo Studios and publisher Microids, will officially launch a Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition in November 2023. These special physical editions will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.
Both editions will include a physical copy of the game and unique collectibles. The Limited Edition comes with an official steelbook and three postcards. The Collector’s Edition includes those components too, but adds a 160-page artbook, notebook, and an original figurine.
Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh doesn’t have an exact release date yet. It will be available on PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. Here are the official images of the Limited and Collector’s Editions, from today’s announcement tweet:

Tintin and Snowy have been highly popular for generations in The Adventures of Tintin comic series from Hergé, and the Steven Spielberg animated film helped make the character even more mainstream. So, expectations for Cigars of the Pharaoh are high, and the special editions revealed today are certain to gain traction.
The Limited Edition seems like a good compromise for those who don’t want to spend too much, but still adore the character. The steelbook has a gorgeous art design, which is noticeably consistent with Tintin’s world.
The postcards are also a delight, since they appear to leap right out of the comics, and globetrotting plays a big role in Tintin stories. It’s a clever way to substitute traditional art cards with something very similar, but far more thematic.
The Collector’s Edition figurine is a real treat, capturing the essence of the characters, who are clearly following a clue in someplace new. The notebook is suitable for your own travels, with a nice cover. Most special editions have an art book, but this one will be especially interesting, since the game is based on existing artwork.
