Apophis location, attack patterns, and drops
To battle the Apophis boss, look for it near the Banges Factories at the center of the map (coordinates -464.9, 5.3). Reach the slope that overlooks the Banges Factories by climbing up from there. On the highest point of the plateau is where you’ll find the Apophis.
The Apophis is a level 30 Grievous-type boss, allowing it to take reduced damage from Grievous weapons. Although it is possible to take on the Apophis by yourself, it is strongly recommended that you seek assistance from a crew since the Banges boss has several challenging attack patterns.
Throughout the fight, Apophis will raise its hands and hurl fireballs at players participating in the combat. Fireballs fall randomly, but players may avoid taking damage by dodging them before the fireball lands. The Apophis delivers its finishing blow by launching one last massive fireball at a player chosen at random.
Apophis also includes the ability to throw rocks at its opponents. You can also avoid taking damage by moving away as quickly as possible before the rock gets closer. Additionally, the Apophis has an anti-melee ability, which manifests as the appearance of a red zone and denotes the execution of a 360 swipe attack.
Another combat mechanic of the Apophis is the ability to pounce in the direction of the player. It is important to keep an eye on where it wants to pounce next since it may attempt to leap more than once. Furthermore, the Apophis can blast waves throughout the battlefield. Before it blasts waves, it will stick its claws in the ground and begin the attack. Players who have defeated the Apophis may be granted the following rewards:
