Ubisoft+ is going to be a highly valuable addition for Xbox fans, but it does have a steep price tag. Even the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is slightly cheaper, and it boasts a very large catalog of games, including its own day one releases. The combination of Ubisoft+ and the Game Pass is expansive for the industry.

The central appeal of Ubisoft+ will be the subjective value of the included titles, like any subscription service. There are some hefty franchises in Ubisoft+, specifically the juggernaut Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry series.

With the likes of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Codename Red alone, fans could easily warm up to Ubisoft+. Mirage was named outright in today’s trailer, and following the enormous success of Valhalla, it has some big expectations to fill. But it’s expected to emphasize stealth gameplay again, a return which longtime fans will surely enjoy.

Today’s Ubisoft+ trailer struggled to point out some of the more family friendly titles, but the range just isn’t there with titles like Uno and Family Feud. The service will thrive on its larger franchises, and that’s probably enough for most players.

Ubisoft+ Multi Access subscribers can still access the full library of games through PC, earning exclusive in-game rewards. Tremblay highlights that almost all games and content available on the Xbox platform are included in the Ubisoft+ subscription, providing an extensive and continually growing catalog.

Available for $17.99 USD per month, the Ubisoft+ Multi Access subscription automatically renews until canceled and must be connected to an Xbox account for console access. Tremblay encourages gamers to try the service, expressing excitement over the expansion to Xbox consoles.
