Xbox has been making big waves with all the new game acquisitions for its Game Pass subscription service. During the Xbox + Bethesda showcase 2022, many new Game Pass games were announced for later this year into early next year. Now, players are looking forward to more and more games on the subscription service.
One of the most popular survival crafting games of 2021 was announced to be coming to PC and Xbox Game Pass starting as soon as this fall. Valheim, the Nordic survival-crafting game, will be coming to PC and consoles for all players to enjoy. This also includes the Hearth and Home update as well as the future expansions coming to the game.
Valheim, which is already out on PC, will be released onto PC Game Pass sometime in Fall 2022, with the Xbox console and Game Pass version coming in Spring 2023. This is likely because it will take time to properly optimize Valheim for consoles.
In Valheim, players take on the role of a new Viking in the realm where they’re meant to prove themselves fit for the halls of Valhalla. By crafting a settlement and taking on the bosses of the world, players can take their new journey at their own pace. Whether they choose to take their time and leisurely enjoy their settlement or head to the first boss immediately, Valheim lets the player take their own time.
Through the game’s crafting system, players will be able to make all kinds of new armor and weapons that will make fighting off the local monsters a lot easier. Whether the player journeys alone or decides to build a settlement with friends, there is plenty of fun to be had.
Players will be able to live out their Viking fantasy when Valheim releases on Xbox and PC Game Pass in less than a year.
