Valheim is an early access survival game for 1-10 players. In a recent post on their official Twitter account, Valheim announced that they’d sold over 10 million copies.
In this brutal environment, players must do whatever is necessary to survive–and it isn’t easy. Valheim is set in a purgatory-like world inspired by Viking culture. It also incorporates Nordic mythology elements, which is exciting for history fans.
Valheim is shrouded in mystery and excitement. You can venture into deep, dark forests, snow-peaked mountains, or lush valleys. There are so many vast and new lands for you to venture to and explore. You can get to these places by sailing across the open seas. You can choose where you’d like your base to be situated.
While you’re in these different lands, you can battle against regular animals or mythical creatures. The combat style is dodge and block-based, meaning you can either dodge or block an enemy’s attacks and then proceed with your own.
Build Viking longhouses and build bases that reprieve from the dangers ahead. You can customize both the interior and exterior of your building via the detailed building system. As you progress through the building tiers, you can upgrade, expand, and defend your base.
You can also build your vessels, from knarrs to imposing warships, to help make your exploration more accessible and thrilling. You can even craft your weapons and food to help maintain a healthy body and have the best weapon.
Valheim also supports independent, player-hosted servers. So you can create as many worlds as you desire. So you and your friends hopefully survive together.
