Hi-Fi Rush is a 2023 video game release that is centered around an aspiring rockstar, Chai, and his friends who have to fight against an evil corporation using rhythmic combat — let’s get into the game a little more!
What is Hi-Fi Rush?
Hi-Fi Rush is a video game that released January 25th, 2023 by Tango Gameworks, the studio responsible for releases like Ghostwire: Tokyo and The Evil Within. It is backed by Bethesda. The story starts off with the protagonist, Chai, who had an experiment go wrong on him that fused a music player into his heart, and now, he must escape an evil corporation using rhythm-enhanced combat while finding allies to help him.
For those who love music, this is a title for you, because the visuals are synced to beats, and the more you fight to the beat, the more your combos intensify while doing battle. Chai will work his way from the bottom of the corporation–every department, even marketing!–has it out for him.
