Devas of Creation Race Guide – Is there a Best Race Tier List?
There is no quote ‘best race’ in Devas of Creation. The best race in Devas of Creation is not determined by luck or chance, unlike in other games where you must rely on gacha spins or Robux to obtain that 0.1% Godlike race with amazing passive buffs. So, any best race tier lists for Devas of Creation are utterly pointless.
Instead, in DoC, each race is completely viable, depending on the build you want to go for. The build is the most important factor to consider. Each race in Devas of Creation excels at something compared to the other races, and all of these strengths are reflected in their stats. Below are the starting stats for each race:

Devas of Creation Stats Meaning
Your stats in Devas of Creation are crucial, so if you’re a magic user, leveling up DEX or STR is essentially pointless. Here’s information on what all of the stats do in DoC:
- STR – Physical Power
- DEX – Crit Power, Crit Chance, Speed, Climb Speed
- INT – Magic Power
- WIS – Mana Amount, Mana Regen
- CON – Health and Climb Stamina

Cryuleas
So let’s put this another way that’s easier to understand. If you enjoy wielding powerful, oversized, badass weapons like Greatswords, then the Cryuleas race would be an ideal choice for you. This race boasts high strength and constitution, allowing you to inflict significant damage with your weapons and withstand substantial punishment in battle.
Umbralith
If you aim to excel as a high-damage dealer with a focus on critical hits using Daggers and Bows, then Umbralith is the ideal choice for you. Although this race may initially deal less damage than Cryuleas, it compensates by delivering substantial damage with critical hits. By prioritizing your Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Power when finding/crafting gear, you can significantly increase your critical hit frequency and maximize your damage output. Making you a master damage dealer! This is the race I chose.
Illythrial
In fantasy games, magic is an essential element. If you prefer to harness magical powers instead of relying on normal weapons for dealing damage, then the Illythrial race would be a suitable choice. This race boasts high intelligence (INT) and decent wisdom (WIS), enabling you to inflict greater magical damage while also offering a substantial mana pool (used for casting spells) and faster mana regeneration (which dictates how quickly your mana replenishes after depletion).
Viridis
Just a quick reminder about something important. When you level up, you have the opportunity to raise a specific attribute. If you’re unsure about which path to take, consider choosing the Viridis class. This class is a well-rounded race that is good in everything, with a 5 in each stat, but isn’t great at anything right off the bat like the other races.
By selecting Viridis, you can experiment with different weapons and magic types to determine what you like. As you discover your preferred playstyle, you can allocate your stat points accordingly. For instance, if you enjoy using magic, you should focus on increasing your INT and WIS stats. On the other hand, if dealing high damage through critical hits is your priority, investing in DEX would be what you would do next.
Remember, there is no best race in Devas of Creation. It’s entirely on what you choose to become.
