Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a fresh take on the well-known Pokemon franchise that has been around for over 20 years. There’s quite a few interesting new additions in this game, and that includes a variety of items that will be unfamiliar to the player. One of these is the Mechanical Tub that will you will be offered for a hefty sum. If you want to know what it is, we’ll tell you in this guide.
Mechanical Tub
You will get access to the Mechanical Tub pretty randomly, because it is sold by Ginter who has daily items that are either unique or hard to find in the game. The Ginkgo Guild are found right next to Galaxy Hall, and are in front of a wagon with yellow and blue clothing on. Tuli is also there and sells a variety of different berries and plants.

At some point, Ginter will offer to sell you the Mechanical Tub for $20,000 – $40,000 Pokemon Dollars. It’s a lot of money, so I don’t blame you if you’re wondering what exactly you are getting. Well, when you purchase the Mechanical Tub, you are told that it has been brought to your home. Once you head to your living space, you will find the Mechanical Tub pretty easily because it is a large orange Washing Machine!
The Washing Machine is used to change the form of the Pokemon Rotom. When you have a Rotom on your team or in a Pasture, it will ask if it can investigate the Washing Machine when you interact with it. Let it do so and it will transform into Wash Rotom, which is an Electric and Water-type Pokemon that gets the move Hydro Pump.
My guess is that the Washing Machine came from one of the time rifts that you fell from. So, when you purchase the Mechanical Tub, you will get an addition to your living space and the ability to change forms of your Rotom.
If you want to catch yourself a Rotom, you will need to head to Coronet Highlands and to the west where they are located just south of the Sacred Plaza.
That’s everything you need to know about the Mechanical Tub in Pokemon Legends: Arceus! You will find a variety of informative content on the game in the Pokemon Arceus section of our website.
