Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a fresh take on the well-known Pokemon franchise that has been around for over 20 years. There’s quite a few interesting new additions in this game, and that includes a variety of items that will be unfamiliar to the player. This includes the Red, Blue, and Green Shards you will find as you play. If you’re wondering what you can do with these, we’ll explain everything in this guide!

What to do with Shards

The main thing you can do with Shards in Pokemon Legends Arceus is to craft them into Star Pieces which sell for quite a bit of money at the general store. You will need 3 of each colored Shard and 1 Stardust to create a Star Piece, which will sell for $5,000 at a vendor.

While you can get Shards when battling against Alpha Pokemon, you will mainly find them on the ground while inside of a Space-time Distortion. When you see one of these spawn, just run around inside of it and random loot will appear on the ground once it gets going. This includes the Red, Blue, and Green Shards, but can also be evolution stones and items. You will also find Pokemon that won’t spawn anywhere other than in one of these distortions.

Once you’ve collected your various Shards, you will want to keep them in your Item Boxes until you’re ready to craft them into Star Pieces. To get the Star Piece crafting recipe, you will need to talk to Anvin at Jubilife Village. He is the vendor where you will find the crafting table, and is just across the road from Galaxy Hall.

You can also just sell the Shards, but you will be losing quite a bit of money if you don’t change them into Star Pieces. If you combine the prices of all the Shards and Stardust you need, you will get $1,350 back. Which means you would lose out on $3,650 Pokemon Dollars! That’s quite a bit of cash you’d be throwing away!

That’s everything you need to know about what to do with Shards in Pokemon Legends: Arceus! You will find a variety of informative content on the game in the Pokemon Arceus section of our website.

Just a bit if a tip, you need to edit your article. Shards will only be unfamiliar to players new to pokemon, they have been in the games since gen3 introduced in the hoenn region in the games Ruby and Sapphire. Any player who has played any previous pokemon game will be familiar with shards, but they will have no knowledge of its use in this particular game. This is almost as bad as the article I read where the author claimed ralts was a gen three grass type pokemon, its like you guys just played an hour of each games and thought you knew what was what.

I have one minor mention of items being unfamiliar to players in the introduction, and you write me a paragraph of criticism? Sorry, Pokemon Historian. I played Red and Blue when the games were released and many of the games since then, but I didn’t remember they existed in previous installments. Not to mention it’s a completely irrelevant detail in terms of what this guide is attempting to accomplish.
