Fortnite likes to take you to destinations on its map that are very infrequently explore to complete certain challenges. These are usually daily quests that will just have you landing at an obscure location that you might not have ever visited. These areas are known as landmarks, and they aren’t explicitly labeled on your map, but do have names associated with them. If you’re looking for the Windbreakers for a challenge, we’ll show you exactly where you need to go to find it!

Windbreakers Location

To find where the Windbreakers location is in Fortnite, you will need to travel to the bottom of the southwestern portion of the map. Go directly south of Greasy Grove, and you will find a fairly large island. This island features multiple windmills, which is the location of the landmark known as Windbreakers.

From the map below, you can see that Windbreakers is a fairly secluded spot. It isn’t going to be very popular in general, because it’s pretty far away from the center of the map and you could end up far from the storm circle. However, it will end up being popular if there’s a challenge that requires you to head to that location!

There are six windmills at the location, and you should find some loot around them. There’s also a landmark known as Turbine on the island, which is on the eastern side. That will not count towards landing at the Windbreakers, so make sure you get close enough to the windmills to get credit!
