Fortnite is a constantly evolving game that looks to frequently mix up the way players engage with the game. In the first season of Chapter Three, players were given Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters, which gave players the same power as their favorite web-slinging vigilante. However, those gloves were trademarked and Epic couldn’t hang onto them for long.
Now, Fortnite has introduced its own non-copyrighted version into the game, called the Grapple Glove. First shown in Chapter Three, season three’s trailer, these gloves are meant to help the players with the same abilities that the Web-Shooters had in the first quarter of this year. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Grapple Glove.
Where to find the Grapple Glove
The Grapple Glove is a unique item that can be found in special spawns across the map. The gloves spawn in bright pink tool boxes inside of a bright pink shed. Both the shed and the toolbox have a grappling hook icon printed on the outside, so they’ll be that much easier to find.
The locations of the Grapple Glove include:
- North of Logjam Lumberyard
- Inside Rave Cave
- Southwest of Greasy Grove
- On the road north of Synapse Station
- North of Rocky Reels
- East of Tilted Towers
- In the southeast part of Shifty Shafts
- East of The Daily Bugle
- On the easternmost island in the ocean by Sanctuary
- South of The Joneses, East of Condo Canyon
Many of the Grapple Gloves shown on the map above can be found alongside roads and rivers, making them easy to get to in the middle of a match. Thanks to the 10 spawn locations, players might even stumble on a glove or two while just playing regular matches.
Each of the Grapple Gloves has 30 charges in regular matches and 10 in competitive. Players who were around for the Spider-Man gloves will likely feel at home with this new tool. That’s all you need to know about where to find the Grapple Gloves in Fortnite.
