Fortnite challenges are a weekly endeavor that will have you exploring various parts of the map to complete tasks that will reward you with valuable XP towards leveling up your Battle Pass. Most of the time they are pretty self-explanatory, but there are times when some of the quests can be a bit confusing or difficult. Where to find heavy sniper
Unfortunately, there’s no exact location you can get a heavy sniper from in Fortnite right now. While that might be the case, there are some strategies that you can use to up your chances of locating one faster than just playing the game and wandering around aimlessly!
One strategy is heading to the Daily Bugle location on the map and jumping in the Battle Bus that can be found in the area. Once inside of the bus, drive around and destroy all of the buildings by barreling through them with your vehicle. This will cause all of the loot in the above floors to come raining down, as well as exposing it all to quickly look through.
While you are in the area, make sure to check any vending machines because they could also have the heavy sniper available for purchase for Gold Bars. Unfortunately, this isn’t a foolproof method, you might not find one because they are pretty rare. If you don’t get one, repeat the process until you find one.
The second method requires maybe as much luck as finding one in general. There is an NPC that will sell a Heavy Sniper Rifle, but they don’t seem to spawn very often. Not only that, they can spawn in three different spots on the map. This is the NPC known as, The Imagined.
If you can manage to find them, you can pay 200 Gold Bars to get yourself the Heavy Sniper Rifle you’ve been hoping to find.
Once you do get one, try to make sure to have a tent and then hide the weapon away for later. This allows you to take it out when you’re near a tank and it will allow you to complete the Damage opponent vehicles with the Heavy Sniper challenge. Keep in mind that either a bot or a player needs to be inside the vehicle for you to get credit for the damage!
