The release of the anticipated Slime Rancher 2 is here, and as you’ve started to play, it’s natural to be on the lookout for different Slimes so that you can maximize the types of Plorts you harvest. Pink and Cotton Slimes are the first slimes encountered as you open up the map, and as you explore the western area of Rainbow Island, you’ll find Tabby Slimes, but it’s not until night time on the island that you can find Phosphor Slimes!
Location of Phosphor Slimes in Slime Rancher 2
The key to locating Phosphor Slimes is that they are night time creatures, so you cannot find them during the day. You can rest to speed up the process of getting to night time if you are in a hurry! You’ll be able to recognize them as they fly with a luminescent, slime core that gives a soft, pulsing glow. They are easily found just outside of The Conservatory once the sun goes down.
How to Care for Phosphor Slimes
Phosphor Slimes and their plorts will disappear if exposed to sunlight, so you need to be careful to vacuum them up before daybreak or keep them in a dark place, like a cave. We recommend using a corral with a Solar Shield upgrade if you are keeping them in The Conservatory or else an area where there is no sunlight. They can fly, so an Air Net upgrade is also necessary on their corrals!
If you want to get double the resources, make sure to feed Phosphor Slimes Cuberries, as that is their favorite food!
That’s everything you need to know on finding Phosphor Slimes in the game. We have many more detailed guides that you can find in the Slime Rancher 2 section of our website.
