Fortnite challenges are a weekly endeavor that will have you exploring various parts of the map to complete tasks that will reward you with valuable XP towards leveling up your Battle Pass. Most of the time they are pretty self-explanatory, but there are times when some of the quests can be a bit confusing or difficult. Planting Timed Explosives
To plant timed explosives in Fortnite, you will just need to go to either an IO Airship, Command Cavern, or to The Fortress. Once you’ve arrived any of these spots, the challenge will start and you just need to locate the transparent explosive locations. Interact with three of these, and you will complete the challenge.
One of the easiest spots is at The Fortress near the big tank like vehicle that made a big mark on the land. Just head over to it and you will see a blue marker on the ground. Once you walk near that marker, you will trigger the challenge.
There are three locations you need to interact with. You will find one on each side of the vehicle, and the final one is right below it. The locations are marked on your mini-map if you get lost. You will want to be careful of the IO Guards that are hovering around the area. It might be easier to get some equipment and take them out before completing the challenge.
