The Spy x Family anime was adapted from an incredibly well-written and illustrated manga series by Tatsuya Endo. It was first serialized in Shonen Jump in 2019, with the chapters being compiled into nine books by April 2022 by Shueisha.

The story follows the life of Twilight, a spy who has been tasked with infiltrating a school to get close to one parent. To do that, he must find a wife and have a child. So, Twilight, now known as Loid Forger, adopts a young girl, Anya, from an orphanage and agrees to marry a seemingly ordinary woman named Yor. He doesn’t know that Yor is an assassin and that Anya can read minds, so she knows all about their secrets–and she loves it. Together, this secretive trio must act like a family and survive their chaotic lives.
