Why is Cookie Run Kingdom down?
Cookie Run is down today, December 15th, due to a scheduled maintenance to push the newest update. Unfortunately, there are known bugs that the developers are trying to fix, so they have extended maintenance multiple times, and the current ETA on the game being up again is December 16th, 2:00 (GMT+9).
This update features the Squirrel Shop, the new Pinecone Cookie, Licorice Cookie Magic Candy, and 2022 Kingdom and Cookie of the Year Events.
What is the “Please come back later” error message in Cookie Run Kingdom?
When the game goes under scheduled maintenance, the developers make it so nobody can login to the game so that they can update/fix errors. When you attempt to open the game, you will see “Please come back later,” and then there will be an estimated time for when the maintenance will be over, which will be when you should be able to login again.
Keep in mind that it may just be an estimate, so it could be sooner or later than stated depending on how smoothly an update is going!
